ECONYL®, 100% regenerated nylon

All F2M creations use sustainable fabric made with ECONYL ® yarn , a 100% regenerated nylon fiber made from nylon waste that would pollute the Earth, such as fishing nets , fabric scraps, carpets and plastics industrial recovered worldwide.

Here are the 4 stages of its design by Aquafil, an innovative Italian circular economy company.

1. Recover

The ECONYL® regeneration system begins by recovering waste that would pollute the Earth such as fishing nets , fabric scraps, carpets and industrial plastics collected all over the world.

This waste is then sorted and cleaned in order to have as much nylon as possible.

2. Regenerate

Through a radical process of regeneration and purification, nylon waste is recycled in its original purity.

This means that ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as fossil-derived nylon.

3. Redo

ECONYL® regenerated nylon is transformed into yarns and polymers for the fashion and interior sectors

4. Re imagine

F2M uses ECONYL® yarn in all its creations in order to be more sustainable and contribute to the collection and recycling of nylon waste.
